Fort Frederick, which at the time of the US invasion of the island, was home to a PRA headquarters and a motorized infantry company. Heavy fire from anti-aircraft guns placed here drove off an assault by Delta Force/Rangers on Richmond Hill Prison about 500 meters to the west on Oct. 25th 1983
