Triple Point (Ponto Triplo) is a landmark on Mount Roraima and trijunction for three countries, namely Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana (formerly British Guyana). This historical landmark and pyramid structure was erected in 1931 by commission that involved all three governments as being the tri-border of three countries. Venezuela no longer recognizes the western border of Guyana. For this reason, one side of the monument has been defaced with graffiti and the Guyanese plaque has since disappeared. The triple border point (Venezuela/Guyana/Brazil) on the summit is at 5°12'08N, 60°44'07W.
