Home of Queen Elizabeth's representative in Grenada, the governor general. During the US invasion of October 1983, Sir Paul Scoon was the governor general. US Navy SEALs mounted an attempted rescue of Sir Paul on D-day Oct. 25 1983. Seals fast roped onto the tennis court 50 meters west of Government House.
