Developed in the late-1990s, the Arena Hub Plaza heralded the transition of Mundy Street from merely a pothole-ridden two-lane road behind the Wyoming Valley Mall to one of the premier retail corridors in Luzerne County. The plaza is currently home to nearly 20 businesses with another under development on a vacant tract of land adjacent to Lowe's Home Improvement.
