This is a delightful manor house with 14th century chapel and 15th century Great Hall. Refurbished in the 20th century, the manor exhibits Henry Lyte's famous 16th-century plant directory, 'Lytes Herbal'. The Arts & Crafts style garden was replanted to form 'rooms' with topiary and colourful herbaceous borders.
