Toxicity ? (Târgu Mureş)

I worked on building this decanting and waste basin in the 70's. It's used to take the waste material from the nearby chemical plant. About the toxicity I have no indication, but the screening wall is 12 meters deep (if I remember correctly) and goes in to the impermeable layer.To say the truth , in those years the Romanian authorities give no big attention to environmental issues.
