The Bryan House is an historical home located in Rutledge, TN. The home was built in 1869 by a carpetbagger, laid ababandoned for several years, before being purchased by Dr. L.C. Bryan. Bryan served as the town doctor for almost almost 80 years and was still practicing up into the new millennium. He also started the town telephone company.
The home was sold by his children in 2004, was totally renovated, and now serves as a community center and offices for a local non-profit community organization called Clinch-Powell RC&D Council
