  mylaralingeshwara swamy is killed mallasura and mahishasura in thethrayuga and he is brother in law of lord venkateshwara, from balaji he took loan whenever he ask back the mopney mylarlinga use to tell that, once this temmorond harvest compleats i will settle ur debts.but once the yeild comes he use to bring many monkeyes in garden to eat temmornd and use to shout govinda govinda it means ur loan wil be given only in nxt t'mmornd season. once in a year this mela(jathre)and KARNIKOTHSAVA is happening where future will be told by preist(poojari) it is in Bellary dist.In Maharastra he is called KHANDOBA,shirdi SAIBABA entered khandoba temple and offer pooja to mylarlinga swamy in shirdi.
