Located on Potters Bar High Street behind Oakmere House Public House, Oakmere Park has been awarded the Green Flag for excellence from the Civic Trust since 2002.
There are many prominent features within the park including two lakes which attract a wide range of birds and wildlife. Fishing is permitted during the season in the lakes and this is administered by Potters Bar Angling Club.
There are two play areas in the park, one for the toddler age category and one for juniors. There is a basketball court for teenagers.
