  • How does this school better our children in a different school setting. what makes them so sure that bishop murray is a better fit for any student. I know nothing about this school please if anyone can tell me what they offer it would be much appreciated. Thanks concerned parent.
  • I graduated from this school in '09, it is very small specifically for school work. You get more one on one help from the teachers, there is no sports teams or anything like that so the student focuses mainly on school. However, if your child is doing well in school and wants to join a team they will talk to other schools and figure something out. They make sure your child does what they're supposed to and the teachers are amazing there. They are like family, they make a big impact on the students lives. There is also this program called 'tutorial' it is everyday after school in case your child needs help or a place to focus. If your child misses a day he/she can stay after school the next week and make up their absences only one class a day. Block program which is a regular credit program, you do one subject all day, which isn't as boring as it seems because they work on different topics of the subject. For example, for math, they'd work on fractions, integers, ect. This is a month long, after the month... Tada! got their credit. The One Room School Program, works the same way as the block program except it is modified work. The Block and One Room School Programs they can stay after school for extra help BUT their absences can not be made up. Attendance is very strict in those classes, their attendance has to be at 80% in order to be successful. There is a daycare in the school to give teen parents a chance to get their education as well. Hope this helps, good luck! :)
