  • The site, located at the intersection of Smith Station Road and Courthouse Road, has been the attention of several recent land use cases. Rezoning Case R98-09 was a Zoning Map Amendment, changing the designation from RU (Rural) to C-2 (Commercial-2). The development proposal for Case R98-09 indicated for a three-parcel development project, with a combination of pharmacy, bank, retail, and physicians’ offices. The physicians’ office is currently under construction on the site. A proffer amendment (R03-03) modified the approved proffers from R98-09 to allow for modification in the setback from Courthouse Road.
