The wave pool was part of the original design of the park. Built in 1980 and designed by PBA Engineers. The wave pool, produces 3-5 foot waves. The waves are on for 7 minutes and also off for 7 minutes. Water capacity: 400,000 gallons. Guests capacity: 800. Wave pool has 4 Lifeguards plus 1 lifeguard during high attendance periods.
