Before partition my parents lived in Sakras. then they migrated to pakistan. My father Master Ghulam Sarwar was a school teacher. He very often told us about his life spent in sakras. he remained posted in many places in the then distt Gurgaon like Bazeedpur, tegaon, and Brain Mayo High School Nuh. My father taught general subjects but in High school Nuh he taught Persian. My father was interested in poetry and composed quite a large number of poems on social and deeni conditions of mewati people.Late ch. Yaseen Khan Baba-i-qoum was very much appreciative of his poems. In 1956 my father had visited India and of course Sakras where he met his real brother Master Abdul Ghaffar Khan and his friends like Master abdul sattar and others from choudhry family.I also accompanied my parents'visit to India. I was then an eight year old boy. I still cherish the memories of that visit and now planning to visit sakras. My mother belonged to village Rawalki. My parents also visited Rawalki, Punahna and Singalehri (where my phoopi lived). My parents died a decade ago. My uncles and aunties have also died in India. My uncle had three daughters. Two of them namely Akhtari and Mushtri lived in Village Malahka and the third one namely Anwari lived in Nuh but we have no contacts. I think this is not entirely their fault:we in pakistan are also guilty. Now at this belated time of my life I have strong urge to visit my parents birthplaces.
