Comprising two sectors, Sector 21 and Sector 25, Jalvayu Vihar is one of the most posh and upmarket localities of Noida. Established by Air Force Naval Housing Board (AFNHB) in 4 phases from 1984-1998, it was originally designed for retired personnel of Air Force and the Navy, hence the name Jalvayu Vihar. Along with the 3 sectors of Arun Vihar (Sec 28, 29 and 37) it makes these sectors as the largest housing area for Defence Personnel in Asia.
