Specific works of note include "American Gothic," by Grant Wood (possibly the most widely satirized work of art in the world), Picasso's "Guitar Player" and Seurat's pointillist masterpiece "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of the Grande Jatte" (see the interior photograph with Seurat's masterpiece above). The collection also includes artistic works from many cultures, including ancient Egypt and China, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
