  • Wonderful place. Just inside the gates to the old city is a ruined cathedral. Bear right from there into small public square. There's a tiny shop that sells magnificent gyros just across the square (to the left of the alley running into the main market areas). Take the time to tour the fortifications around the old city, theyr'e extremely impressive. The Palace of the knights of St. John is well worth a visit as well.
