Krkavec transmitter

Czech Republic / Plzensky / Ledce /

Krkavec means a raven. Krkavec is the second highest hill of Plzen region (504 m) with a outlook tower and restauration on the top. Built and opened 1901, closed after 1950 and served as a military transmitter and perhaps a free western broadcating jammer. Unavailable at this time. The local name was originated (by legend) from the ancient augury of the ravens flyiing in this sacrifice holy.
