The feasibility study indicated the Salitre project as irrigable 23.840ha. The project is served by a pumping station (EB100)composed by 6 bombs and 7.478Kw power, will be able to pumb 41.95 m3 / s, releasing the water supply pipelines in the network, formed by 124.9 km of canals, including excerpts in pipe and aqueduct. The project was divided into five stages of construction, and the first stage with 5.940ha. The crops are recommended: pineapple, avocado, acerola, cotton, banana, sweet potato, beans, guava, lemon, mango, melon, sweet corn, peppers, tomatoes and grapes. The methods of irrigation to be used are: infiltration by furrows, conventional spraying, micro spraying and drip.
