  • I lived in Baghdad in the street near the Italian Club. And we shopped at the little supermarket at Al Wathiq square. The house next door was belonging to an entrepreneur Zeitoun. These were the years 1975, and 1981 to 1983.We used to goswimming and eating either at the Italian Club near by or at the Melia Hotel in Mansour. I have been intrigued by the + on a house of 'my' street. Any explanations ? In the same street lived the family of our secretary at the office : Family Wazir.   • I lived in Krrada by Asfar street ( sharii asfar)before leaving Baghdad 1965. what memories of Nawwas street and Mansoor circle. I miss those days.
