This building, designed by Cass Gilbert, was built in 1915 as home to the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank. After the Federal Reserve Bank moved in 1973, it became the headquarters of the National City Bank until that bank was acquired by the Marshall and Illsley Bank.
