Bowdish Lake is accessible by state and private boat launch, state allows maximum 7-horsepower outboard motors. Eastern end of lake provides focal point of Washington State Campground with moderate beach swimming area, facilities limited to pit toilets and portable sanitary enclosures. Many private homes and "camp" cottages southern and southwestern shores. The large, privately-owned Bowdish Lake Campground dominates the western and northwestern shores and offers beach swimming areas, activities, flush toilet and pay shower facilites.
