This poorly-defined astrobleme has been verified as an impact structure by the presence of shatter cones. It is roughly 18 km in diameter, with a central uplift of 250-300 m, and dates to <65 Ma. Any crater that may have been associated with this structure has been erased by numerous ice ages.
Two other possible astroblemes are located to the east near Maple Creek and Govenlock, Saskatchewan.
