Landmark of Ahmedabad - ‘Patang Hotel', result of close collaborative effort of the architect and the structural engineers, was the first of its kind in India & South Asia, has RCC umbrella shaped structure of 68' outer diametre. The revolving platform with an internal width of 18' and 62' outer diametre, is designed for a total load of 25kgs/ sq.ft. And to seat 136 persons. The platform takes 90 minutes to finish one revolution and offers the view of River Sabarmati and cityscape in surrounding.
