  • The guys at eZone has no clue what professionalism is. I had the shock of my life yesterday... I had taken my son for Go Karting at this so called "international Venue". After you purchase the ticket for the karting, you have to walk through the parking lot, which is along the perimeter of the karting track, to get to the karting place. On our way back from karting, I wanted to take a snap of my sone with the trak in the background. He was standing a good 5 meters from the fence that separates the track from the parking lot. As I was about to take the photo, a kart came crashing, through the whatever they have kept as a tyre wall, and took the fence and hit the child. We were lucky enough that the fence hit a car in the parking lot which took most of the effect of the crash before the fence hit the child. They say they are "PROFESSIONAL". The guy in charge came down and before even seeing what happened to the child, or even offering first aid, started blaming me for letting the child stand in the parking lot, which is outside the track area. He went on to argue that I have signed some paper before the karting and so they are not responsible. His blaming ceremony continued for about 20 minutes and still no first aid offered. Now he goes on to argue that any person who enters eZone can be hit by a kart and only those who accept that need to come there. He says that the fence which is supposed to come off like that and thatis the safety norm for all karting tracks. I asked him if he means to say that anyone standing on the side of the fence outside the track can get hit by a kart and his answer was a confident YES!!. And then he goes on to test my knowledfge on which all karting tracks I have seen and wants me to tell him the names of all the tracks I have seen.... still no first aid offered... and he wants me to be calm and even says that I have no brains. Now, another of his friends joins him.. totally drunk. He says he someone responsible for the place and then another guy joins him.. They even threatened me to hit me if I don't keep quiet because there are lot of people since it is sunday evening..... They even threatened my wife and my mother to leave or they will bash me up. This is the sorry state of affairs at this "international venue". They say they meet all safety norms... that is just plain lie.. they follow nothing. There is no seat belt for kids in the twin seater karts. Helmets provided are older than my grandpa and none of them have proper straps. Their website shows a picture of the karting track with 2 layer tyre walls... All you see now is single layer tyre walls with a foot or so gap in between. It seems they have not even bothered to maintain the track as per the standards they claim to maintain. It is just another, pure money making , arm twisting, drama..
