water, marina, dock (maritime)
A dock surrounded by residential flats, restaurants and a Starbucks.
Keen-eyed coffee drinkers will be find a large clear acrylic block on an outside wall near the Starbucks with a rather dull carving cut into it. An interesting inscription, however, declares that the block was originally commissioned by Stanley Kubrick as the monolith for the movie '2001 - A Space Odyssey', and at the time was the largest single block of perspex in the world. But Kubrick decided to go with a black monolith, and the block was reused for the carving.
