Ancient temple in Shimla, deciated to Hindu deity, Hanuman. Hanuman is the god of monkey. There are so many names of Hanuman like: Veer Bajrangi, Mahavir Hanuman, Keshari Nandana, Hanumanji, etc. He helped to Ram in all major work. He also helps Sri Ram in the War with Rawan. God hanuman is the symbol of power. Lord Hanuman always save their devotee by the devil and gents. Main arms of Lord Hanuman is Gadda. The birth place of Mahavir Hanuman is Nasik Anjani Parvat.
This is the very old temple dedicated to the Hindu deity God Hanuman. It is believed to be associated with the quest for the life giving 'Sanjeevani' herb, which became crucial for the survival of Laxman, the younger brother of Lord Ram, during the war with the demon king Ravana

  • Walked upto this temple in 1944 when I was less than 5 years of age along with my childhood friend Nindi. We both followed our neighbours in Engine Ghar without their notice for a long distance until they spotted us. My parents were totally unaware of my following them.
