Nine barrack for the treatment of wounded and patient soldiers were built here in 1877.
Until 1925, the Trinkler Street (in honor of a surgeon doctor and professor) was called the Lazarett Street.
Later a large clinical town of the Kharkiv University arose in this place. The Regional Hospital and several departments of the Medical Institute are working on this territory.
