This Barangay is 35km. from Iloilo City. Bonded on the NE by Bgy. Gines, on the SW by Bgy. Maninila and on the West by the Panay Gulf. Formerly known as Bgy. Samlague and was previously a part of Bgy. Kalampitao. 90% of the population of this place are related to each other ( the Nejar, Nabuab, Mombay, Nono and others). The name of the barangay is derived from the adobe like soil prevalent on this area.
