This bowling alley closed once before in the 1960s perhaps and spent some time as a Bar Stools and Dinettes type store. On August 16, 1974 it was reopened as a bowling alley.

The closing of the Mission Hills Bowling Alley was announced in April 2015, and closed on May 31st of that same year after 41 years of continuous operation in the 65 year old building. This is an article explaining why from the operators perspective. Choose "April 2, 2015"
