On August 18, 2003 a female swimmer was attacked and killed by a shark at this location. She was swimming within the buoys, not far from the pier.

  • When you dress in a wetsuit to look like a seal and then swim with seals, like she WAS doing you just might be shark food. Did I mention Great Whites love to eat seals.....Yummm That's the shark just bit her and spit her out, she tasted like tuna instead of a seal.
