One of the popular landmark motels of Myrtle Beach. Larger oceanfront building added during the eighties on top of parking lot. Three-level parking deck added between original building and new buildling. During the seventies, the "polynesian" theme carried over to the original uncovered pool where palmettos and multi-colored floodlights added the "tropical" touch. Prior to the major additions, motel was mostly white.
