Building constructed in 1986TD, it was a former space for music store chains Sound Warehouse (c. mid-November 1986TD-c. early 1994PB), Blockbuster Music (c. August 1994PB-early 1997PB), bookstores Super Crown (mid-August 1997PB-c. February 2001PB), Books-A-Million (c. April 2001PB-2008DC), and office supply store Office Depot (c. 2010DC-c. late-May 2019DC). The current space is now a New York City (Queens)-based Japanese household goods store, opened on August 15, 2025. This is the first location in Illinois and 17th location in the US.
