Farmer's Day is an annual celebration of Richlands's agrarian roots. It is held on the first Saturday after Labor Day each year, and has been running for over forty years. The celebration begins in the morning with a parade through town, and continues under the pines in front of Richlands High School. The day includes live music, local vendors, games, and food. A recently added tradition is a tractor pulling competition.
