  Runway nominally 2200 feet long and paved, actually often covered with sand and gravel. West 2/3 slopes down sharply towards the river, eastern third is a little flatter. Land uphill, takeoff downhill and then bank left over the river/lake -- on a hot day you will not be able to climb straight out over the rocks on the western side of the valley.
