According to the elders, this was the place where villagers used big woks to cook rice and distributed to each homes during the Japanese Occupations for 3 years and 8 months (1942 - 1945).Village folks were not allowed to cook at home in order to prevent them from supplying food to the Anti-Japanese guerillas in the jungles near by.
