  • Why was the bridge built in this location? Surely those who engineered it's construction knew what they were doing. If they didn't they were idiots. I recently was in Loboc for lunch on a river boat and I could not get over the folly of this bridge. What a complete waste of resources. It's too bad the government has little concern for preserving it historical past. The parish church of St. Peter the Apostle which is 400 years old lays in the path of the bridge and road. What a folly.
