This house is a pyramid?!

It's true, although the brief glimpse of the gold pyramid and 64-foot statue of Ramses may make passing motorists on nearby Route 94 temporarily question their sanity.

Built by the Onan family in 1977, the walled complex also houses a gift shop (now closed) and a 64-foot tall statue of Ramses. Although the complex is no longer open for tours, the curious can get a view the house through the locked gate on Dilleys Road.

  • Built by the Onan Construction Family, easily visible to "the right" as you are heading North on 94 past Gurnee Mills, jsut before toll plaza. Open for tours occasionaly benefitting Catholic Charities.
