Bishop's Castle is a large stone castle, with decorative ironwork and stained glass, constructed entirely by one man, Jim Bishop. Started in 1969, the castle has grown each year by his efforts. It is an absolute must-see in this area.
The Castle and the gift shop are completely located in the thick woods along Highway 165. Located right off the road, there is no driveway leading up to the actual structure, but it is only a short walk.
