This is a village located very adjacent to Nellikkunnu.This was a small town earlier but now a days the amount of people coming to this village is decreased due to the advancement of near city called Kelakam.People used to make merry here,but now the young generation growing is not interested in making noise out here.so there for, the old monks rule here as they like.The toddy served here in the toddy shop was the only expectation of farmers here in the evening and now its been diluted with unhealthy ingredients,so people prefer to foreigners made now.of course ,you will be forced to be a part of it when you are a chengomkaran.its evening is colorful not because people indulged in evening routine but youngsters gather here to blabber.that's good.
