Home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Designed by Frank Gehry, it took more than a decade to go from launch (1987) to completion (2003) due to confusion over the radical design and its cost. The building was named when Lillian Disney, widow of Walt Disney, donated $50 million to launch the project.

  • If only you could take the lovely interior and stuff it inside a building that didn't look like a partially collapsed radiator.
  • Have leaved next to this building for close to 4 years now and still find new angles and views that I can appreciate everyday. Only wish it was in a more prominent location with better vista views to become a city icon for LA. Great design Gehry.
