This now-closed waterpark originally opened in 1970 as SeaWorld Ohio until a sale to 2001 to Six Flags, which combined it with their Six Flags Ohio theme park to open as the combined Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. However, it lasted just a few years before it was sold to Cedar Fair, which redeveloped the former "marine park" side into a new water park component, Wildwater Kingdom, which opened for the 2005 season of what was renamed as "Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom". In 2007, Cedar Fair closed the theme park side and renamed it as "Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom" before renaming it in 2011 as Wildwater Kingdom. After the 2016 season, Wildwater Kingdom was closed for good, ending the park's legacy which had began with the 1887 establishment of the Geauga Lake park.

  • Wild Water Kingdom is a large waterpark connected to Geauga lake, by the old Sea World location. There is a wave pool, a water slide tower (consisting of 7 slides, many restaurants and stores, a giant funnel slide (Liquid Lightning), award winning staff, and millions of gallons of water! Wild Water Kingdom opened in 2004, and was supposed to have a phase 2, but it never got carried out, and only the wave pool was built then.
