A joint project of NHA and the province of Cebu, with no water, good that we have our active barangay captain, Yody Sanchez, was able to find water at kalumbuyan, with the help of our mayor Tomas Osmena and congressman Raul Del Mar.

  • Yes, they found water in Kalumbuyan but it's NOT sufficient to supply the entire village. The water pump in Kalumbuyan is only supplying one third or less of the total population of Busay Heights. Sometimes it cause conflict among supplied residences because the water is distributed on a ration basis. Majority of the families in Busay Heights are dependent on government water delivery trucks which frequently break down due to poor maintenance and they pay very much more than the people in the city with running water from the Cebu Water District. We hope that the city government would be able to solve the water problem at Busay Heights which has been in existence for more than 20 years ago.
