Lake Tippecanoe is a large lake in North Central Indiana, created through glaciation, is the deepest natural lake in the state. This lake is used mostly for recreational purposes; fishing, boating, skiing. Most of the lake is surrounded by residential housing. Public access is available on Grassy Creek, a tributary that connects the lake to several other lakes upstream. The Tippecanoe River drains the lake, which in turn flows to the Wabash River, then to the Ohio River and eventually the Mississippi River.
