Designed c. 1927 by Albert Walker and Percy Eisen, architects. It originally housed a clothing store designed by Joseph Feil and Bernard Paradise. Glass fabricated by René Lalique. Cabinetry by "Saddier et Fils." James Oviatt died in 1973. Ten years later, his building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The penthouse interior was used as a filming location for the Netflix series "Hollwood" S1E2 as the office of agent Henry Willson.
