Rotary purchased the building in 1986 for $27 million from Baxter International, and moved in during 1987. The organization extensively remodeled its offices (floors 11-18) for its Centennial Year in 2005. The lower floors are leased to various businesses including the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, and the basement houses a cafeteria that is open to the public.
