Khooni is the Hindi word for bloody and Gaarh is a shore or the place where water from the river or the fountain meets the road.

The main road leading to Mori goes low here. Water from the hill flows down towards the Tons river submerging the main road. The force of water is so high on this small stretch of road, that is famous for accidents in the rainy season. Even small trucks avoid going through this patch in the night because of its famous history and lack of any light.
