  Jesse Dyer, Eagle Scout 1973-1993 This quiet place in the woods is dedicated to the memory of Jesse Dyer in honor of his love of Tamanend Park and the countless hours he volunteered to help maintain its trails. An avid outdoorsman, Jesse loved hiking, caving, canoeing and led an adventurous life. "Do as many things as you can, if not more." he once said. "The memories will last forever." His jovial manner always made others feel good, and it is the hope of us, his many friends, that this quiet grove can likewise make people feel good and let them enjoy the beauty of the woods, as Jesse always did. Rest in peace , friend, we'll never forget you.
