Appichimarmadam , A shiva temple which is remain closed for long time. Very famous temple for normal tamil people. People used to come here and prepare pongal and food and eat here. People will get some devotional characteristics and will say solutions to the common human life problems that normal people are asking them.

  • Appichimarmadam history traces back to nearly 800 years.uniqueness about this place is it has an old temple(neither a temple nor a mutt), headed by the eldest male member of my appichimarmadam family.it is a place of worship,respect and rememberance of our ancestors(appichimar),our guru (rakkiannan),and a muslim elder(masiriamman),who lost her two sons tanukhan and padarkhan in the battle,saving our ancestors.this place is believed to be an earthly abode for our ancestors.p.s. as described by my grandfather M.A.Andamuthu Gounder-Pattakarrar of Thingalur Appichimarmadam.out of seven appichimar temples in tamilnadu state this is the capital.   • Hiii friends....the temple appichimarmadam is closed due to some small prob only.....nw same God masiriamman which is in thalinjipalayam ,naduvacherry,avinashi taluk which was functioned before some 400 yrs before.my g.ma itself don't know hw it was functioned... Nw we our village took steps and constructed newly by Nov 11 we kept func for tat temple....this temple belong to appiichimarmadam ...please kindly visit
