The PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. (PGHMFI) was established as a non-stock, non-profit organization as an official fund-raising organization of the PGH. The Foundation provides funds to the MSS and also gives direct patient assistance through its “Charity Patients’ Medical Fund” program. It has continuously addressed various needs of the hospital, i.e. vital medical/surgical equipment and infrastructure through its different fund-raising campaigns and solicitations from generous donors.
