The highest mountain in the Tehachapi area. The first half of the trail is a fire road and is very well maintained. But you may not drive on it since there is a locked gate. Half way up the mountain, the road starts a down grade, this is where the road used to end. Look for a faint trail going up a ridge to the left of the road. It is extremely steep but the whole trail is only about 2 miles.
